Virtual Private Servers are single physical servers in our farm which are divided into multiple private "virtual" servers.  Digital Gigabyte utilizes the latest state of the art virtualization platform, VMware Enterprise Plus.  Each Virtual Private Server is fully isolated with its own file system, processes, users, applications, and resource allocations. This enables you to fully customize your server configuration and choose the best applications and services to suit your specific needs.  We also maintain extremely dense levels of available capacity to insure that there is no over utilization of any of our Virtual Private Servers host systems.   Additionally, these systems are located within our new VMware cloud infrastructure so that all of these systems seamlessly move from one physical machine to another as additional spikes in resources are needed to assure best level of service.
